My father is a Barber whose earnings were inadequate to give higher education after 12 th . When I got admission for Engg. in Jalgaon, the next question was where to stay & how to get food to sustain as it was too costly. Fortunately, I came to know about Respected Dr. S. S. Rane sir and samiti who help poor, needy and talented students for their education, provide them food and stay. I got an entry in Samiti and then Rane Sir helped me not only for 4 years of graduation but also during M.Tech. in Trichy by funding my fees. He changed our lives by not only taking care of our food & stay, but also our physical and mental health by guiding us to perform prayer every day, by arranging Yoga Sessions for us, by arranging guest lecturers to motivate us, by telling us motivational stories after dinner. His very intention was to run samiti by us (students) and not by the rector which worked well. He helped to get us a part time job through the “Earn and Learn” scheme so that we may not only get money to support our parents but also to get a feeling of Self Dependency. Also, he guided us to do “श्रमदान” as a social and
environmental responsibility. Samiti was a Temple for us and Rane Sir is God of that temple.
Rane Sir has established a Samiti which is operational through donations from common people like Businessmen, Professors, Shop Owners, Farmers & even mothers selling vegetables on road. This happened only because Rane Sir approached them and explained the purpose of samiti and his pure intention to help needy students. He is inspired from “Padmbhushan Dr. Karmveer Bhaurav Patil” and “ रयत शि क्षण सस्ं था ”. Sir were available every time with us at our last stall of any events like “कृषी प्रदर्शनर्श ” or “Super Shopy” where we were requesting people to give us at least Rs. 1 for our education. It was really inspiring to all of us. He has dedicated his life towards the education of students like me and that is the result that all students like me are now well settled and doing well in society.
My parents are farm-workers. After completing 12th I was thinking this is the end of my
education because my parents are unable to pay my educational fees. Then I am looking for a
job. One of my beloved Mr. Mahesh Kolhe told me about Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti, Jalgaon.
After taking temporary admission in BSc (Computer Science) in M J College. I have given
interviews in Samiti. That day I will never forget because my only hope is on Vidyarthi Sahayak
Samiti. If Samiti doesn’t give me admission I have to cancel my admission and that’s the end of
my career. But Dr. S S Rane sir not only give me admission in samiti but also join me to part
time job at “Shaha Brother’s” pipe shop for accounting and transactional data entry operator
that give me wings to continue my education further.
Sir, give us values by telling stories of great leaders. They teach us that it is our duty to repay
our society. Sir always says that samiti is an organization run by people for people. Sir always
lives for others without expectations.
Sir is always there when we are in Samiti. He is there for us till now. I remember one memorable
moment with him. After completing my MCA and after 2 years of experience in an IT company I
have decided to start my own business so I have gone to discuss with sir. He is very happy with
my decision and told me that if I am unable to earn much in the starting phase of business he
will give me money for my household expenses that give us strength to take any risk in life.
I am very proud of you, sir. I’m so fortunate because you’re in my life
This is really a very hard journey from small village Bhavarkhede to Mumbai. The journey of
thousands miles starts with the first step. In my life the first step was my entrance into Vidhyarthi
sahayak Samiti, the temple of knowledge. In this temple, I mate with the great guru of my life,
Dr.S.S.Rane Sir.
Samiti was founded on the principles set by great leader Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. What
important lesson I had learnt in samiti is the lesson of life i.e. while living with yourself you have
to live for others and that is life. My guru Rane Sir always used to stay with us in samiti and at
that time he always discussed the thoughts of great leaders like Shahu Maharaj,Mahatma
Phule, Mahatma Gandhi, Bharatratn Babasaheb Ambedkar and all the lifetime great heroes.
We students were really astonished when the Principal of esteemed college used to join with we
students to collect the funds on road side, in shopping events and in villages also. Samiti is run
by the help of people from all the socioeconomic classes ranging from industrialists to hawkers.
Rane Sir always used to meet these great souls of society, explain the importance of
education to poor students and how this would help to build the nation and used to grant help
from those people. Today I can travel via airway due to my initial day’s journey with Samiti.
Samiti is not providing only shelter and mess facility to poor students but samiti is providing the
lifetime thoughts to the pillar of nation i.e. young students. In India there are a lot of students
who can’t afford better quality education due to the lack of money and lack of vision. Samitis’
principle is to serve India with the molded form of citizen who can withstand all the crises in
future and who can be a best Indian.
My family is here due to Dr. S.S.Rane sir..even though I would like to say that I can
breathe today due to his thoughts he inculcated within me..thoughts for fighting towards bad
things in society, thoughts of making society a peaceful place and thoughts of Mankind.
I promise the students of Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti is living a best Indian due to Rane Sir
only..Love you my great hero
Originating from a quaint village with a modest population of around 800, my family
faced economic hardships. Following the unfortunate demise of my parents, I found myself
lacking the necessary means to pursue higher secondary education and secure accommodation.
During this trying period, the esteemed Dr. S. S. Rane and the Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti
graciously extended their support.
Under the Samiti’s guidance, a multitude of initiatives were undertaken, including “Earn
and Learn” programs, fostering skill development, nurturing personal growth, and engaging in
enlightening brainstorming sessions, among others. This comprehensive approach instilled
within us a strong sense of self-reliance while enlightening us to the importance of our societal
responsibilities.
During the second year of my engineering studies, when financial circumstances
threatened to derail my educational journey, I received invaluable financial assistance through
the Samiti-Vidyarthi Vikas fund. This assistance proved pivotal in allowing me to successfully
complete my education.
I give all credit to Vidyarthi Sahayak samiti Dr.S S Rane sir, who given me good cultured
environment and financial support that allowed me to stay in Vidyarthi Sahayak samiti at time

addition to that given me opportunity to work in “Learn and earn scheme” in MJ college jalgaon
that helped me to complete the post graduation in organic chemistry Subject which was my
dream in life.
Dr. S S Rane sir given good cultured ethics in samiti, told stories of great leaders like sant
Gadge baba, mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar
Arranged daily evening lectures by great personalities on many different subjects like time
management, history of great leaders, general knowledge, English speaking. These all different
activities brought me on the correct track because of that only, today I am able to work with a
good position in multinational pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. S S Rane sir treated us like own child and their earnest desire to improve the society.
He believed that if a child is educated it means complete family life improves and Ultimately
society will improve and hence I give all my credit to Dr. S S Rane sir and Vidyarthi Sahayak
samiti which helped me to become a successful person in life.

further education was impossible. When it was time for my husband to stop studying and leave
the college, I got information about the Student Aid Committee Jalgaon. When I inquired, I came
to know that the said Student Aid Committee is run by Mr. Dr. Professor SS Rane Sir. Here in
Samit the poor and intelligent children are admitted here regardless of caste and Religion is not
considered. I went to MJ College Jalgaon to meet Mr. Rane Sir. He asked me sympathetically
and took my complete information and told me complete information about the Student
Assistant Committee and said you are admitted here I was very happy. I went to the student
support committee where sir had rented a house for students. In that house students of different
castes and religions were studying together. My food and accommodation were arranged and
my further studies started smoothly.
While we are studying, sir, come to us in the evening and tell us about Karmaveer Bhaurao
Patil, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Savitribai Phule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar,
etc. Therefore, we should be able to live while we are studying. Sir gave us time and time again
to become a good person. I completed my LLB in 2006 and after that I passed the MPSC exam
in 2011 for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor and today I am working in government
service as Assistant Public Prosecutor. Hundreds of future students like me, needy, poor and
intelligent children were taught by sir and are still being made today. Today, Shri Rane sir
continues to guide us, now the Student Support Committee has its own building, many aspiring,
