. Two decades ago, a visionary educator by the name of Dr. Rane embarked on a journey that would reshape the destinies of countless young minds.

. Jalgaon has become a major center of higher education. Many meritorious students due to their weak financial position are unable to pursue higher education thus amounting to a global and national loss of talent. The soaring costs of living and studying in bustling metro cities often forced these aspiring individuals to abandon their dreams of education, leaving their potential untapped.

. Inspired by Karmveer Bhaurao Patil’s work, a group of 5 teachers under the leadership of Dr. S. S. Rane decided to undertake a venture at Jalgaon to help the poor and needy students. This led to foundations of a new Institution known as Vidyarthi Vikas Pratisthan’s “Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti, jalgaon” registered under society registration act in 2001.

. Initially five students were selected and offered accommodation in a rented building. They showed good progress in their academics. Encouraged by this success more students were offered accommodation and facilities like boarding, remittance of educational fees, library etc And the project which is based on self-help and self-discipline grew like a banyan free.

. Of course, this was not possible without help of the generous people belonging to all sections of the society. The project received a boost when Jalgaon Municipality allotted to the Samiti 55,000 Sq.Ft. of land in the survey no. 148 on which a structure of 15000 Sq.Ft. has been constructed.

. Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti, an organization rooted in the values of compassion, empowerment, and education. Through the Samiti, Dr. Rane provided not only a roof over their heads and nourishing meals but also an environment that fostered personal growth and academic excellence.

This thoughtful approach allowed students to earn their livelihoods without compromising their pursuit of education, enabling them to tread the path of honor and hard work. Today, the ranks of those once-disadvantaged students are graced by professionals in prestigious organizations and multinational corporations, a testament to the transformative power of education when coupled with unwavering support.
