Two decades ago, a visionary educator by the name of Dr.Rane embarked on a journey that would reshape the destinies of countless young minds.
Jalgaon has become a major center of higher education. Many meritorious students due to their weak financial position are unable to pursue higher education thus amounting to a global and national loss of talent. The soaring costs of living and studying in bustling metro cities often forced these aspiring individuals to abandon their dreams of education, leaving their potential untapped .

Inspired by Karmveer Bhaurao Patil’swork, a group of 5 teachers under the leadership of Dr.S.S.Rane decided to undertake a venture at Jalgaon to help the poor and needy students. This led to foundations of a new Institution known as Vidyarthi Vikas Pratisthan’s “Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti, jalgaon” registered under society registrationact in 2001.

Jalgaon has become a major centre of higher education. Many meritorious students, due to their weak financial position, are unable to pursue higher their education, thus amounting to a global and national loss of talent.

Inspired by Karmveer Bhaurao Patil,s work, a group of 5 teachers under the leadership of Dr. S. S. Rane decided to undertake a venture at Jalgaon to help the poor and needy students. This led to foundations of a new Institution known as Vidyarthi Vikas Pratisthan’s ‘Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti, Jalgaon’, registered under society registration act in 2001

Help in kind, in form of commodities which may include the daily necessities of life of the students or building or construction materials and furniture and books for library.
Payment of expenditure required for one or more students for one full year thus participating in adoption of students scheme as a guardian.
Contribution of one day meal expendure of all students by donating an amount as a fixed deposit permanently.
Contribution of an amount in multiple of Rs. 10007/- per month for a specific period to become guardian of the Samiti.
Donation of an amount required for construction of a room in the proposed structure, to be named after a deceased relative or a friend ar a desired present relative.

What We Do

We provide daily good meals and pure drinking water to the needy Students.

Education

Our team helps selected talented poor and needy student in their educations.

Rich Library

A rich library having 17000 books open for all selected poor and needy students.

Clean Hostel Room

We provide reasonably good accommodation to the needy Students.

Public Support

Donation of House

The Samiti is being run successfully due to the spontaneous and generous support from the public. It is a project based on active public participation where even the common man is contributing in terms of money as well as goods and essential commodities. Farmers contribute in the form of food grains, vegetable seller provides vegetables free of cost, people donate voluntarily from the minimum of one rupee to as per their will and wish. Even hawkers, rickshawalas and coolies donate one rupee each to the donations boxes of the Samiti.

Late Shri. B. M. Patil donated his own building 3300 sq.ft to the Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti. Considering the socially oriented valuable work of the samiti. The building is located in the heart of the city and the estimated value is 1.5 crore. The Samiti proposes to construct a multi purpose hospital at the same site on the lines of Lokhit Dawakhana and Lokhit Medical Store for poor and lower income group of the society.
